For 45 years Glen Manor has put the care of our customers first. We deal with many of Ontario's oldest and respected families both in estate acquisitions and dispersals. Our goal has always been to build a lasting relationship with our customers.

In the summer of 1974, Brian Campbell opened Glen Manor's first store on Toronto's Queen Street E. Carl Booth joined Brian in 1975 and opened a second store on Avenue Rd in 1980.

After 15 years in the city, Brian made the decision to relocate Glen Manor Galleries to it's current location in Shakespeare just outside Stratford Ontario. A year later Carl closed the Avenue Rd location and joined him.

Glen Manor Galleries continues to be a trusted name for exceptional quality and outstanding service.

J Taylor

Antiques

J Taylor Antiques was founded in London, England, in 1979 as an antique restoration company.

We expanded to buying period furniture at provincial estate auctions, restoring it and selling through the London auction market and in 1996 we opened our first retail store in Kingston upon Thames.

In 2002, we relocated to Canada and opened a retail store on Locke Street, Hamilton, however, we continued to source nearly all our stock from the same English auction houses and certain highly reputable Home Counties dealers.

In 2017, we relocated our head office (and home) to Brantford, Ontario, while continuing to maintain the retail premises on Locke Street.

In 2019, we set aside space for a showroom in Brantford, ultimately replacing the Locke Street store altogether.

We still make regular buying trips to Europe and our stock is still of the same high quality that our customers have come to expect since our move to Canada in 2002.

For more information about visiting the Brantford showroom, please contact us.
