"Wilcox" Towboat

Signed lower right, O/C, professionally restored, 29 1/2" X 17", original frame

The Wilcox was built by J. M. Jones, Detroit, 1869. It was 123 feet in length at a gross tonnage of 159 tons. She sank off Tawas Point in Saginaw Bay, Lake Huron in 1893.
