A Rare & Important 18th Century Silver Tastevin by Francois Ignace Ranvoyze, Quebec Circa 1780                                                        

The plain bowl affixed with a shell-shaped thumbpiece, the underside bearing marks for noted Quebec silversmith Francois Ignace Ranvoyze (1739-1819), the underside of the thumbpiece bearing owner’s initials.

Measuring, 3.5” diameter x 4.5” wide.

Weight, 101 grams.
