An exceptional Chippendale period Rococo Oval Gilt Mirror of strong proportion, decoration and design.
The flowing rococo carving incorporates floral imagery, pendants and rock outcrops with flowing water. The whole surmounted by a well drawn and executed Hoho bird with outstretched wings and head defiantly high.
Replaced plate but beautifully foxed.
