Tiger maple sideboard made with Sheraton sensibilities in Upper Canada c1830-1850.  
Related to two other tiger maple sideboards made in Port Hope of similar form.  
The present sideboard is illustrated as plate 397 of "The Furniture of Old Ontario" by Shackleton.   Structurally solid with bottom drawer rail restored, patch to one rear leg.
