A very fine and impressively tall pair of Neoclassical Revival sterling silver candlesticks, showing tapering columns embossed with Neoclassical motifs of swags & tassels, rising to stylized Corinthian capitals retaining their original detachable drip-pans. Both bases are similarly addressed with neoclassical motifs and weighted for stability, bearing London hallmarks with date letter for 1901, together with makers marks for noted British silversmiths, Thomas Bradbury & Sons. Both drip pans and the undersides of the bases also bear corresponding makers marks & London hallmarks.
