A set of four large fine quality William IV sterling silver salts by Joseph and Albert Savory, London 1835. Cauldron shaped on three acanthus-capped anthemion feet with applied shell, scroll and floral borders with gilt interiors. Engraved with the Johnson family crest and motto "vive ot pastea vivas" (Live, that you may hereafter live). Along with 4 Fiddle pattern salt spoons. 3.5" (8.9cm) diameter, 18.7 troy oz (581g).
