Assomption sash -- Ceinture fléchée
 
A rare child’s finger woven sash in very good condition, minor pulls but no moth holes, tight edge.  Worsted wool with red arrow core flanked by traditional lightning pattern in white, pale blue, white, red, pale yellow, green, red, white, and red. Quebec, circa 1850.
 
Measurements: Length  with fringe: 93”; fringe: 11”; W: 3-3.25”.
