Pair of English Silver Figural Salts
A pair of large and fine quality English sterling silver figural salts hallmarked London 1977, no maker's mark (possibly Richard Comyns or CJ Vander). In the Victorian manner, cast construction, modelled as  a seated man and woman in conversation, dressed in 18th century garb, both holding baskets. 5.5" (14cm) high, gross weight 36.9 troy oz (1147g)*.
*The lower portion of the interior is filled with plaster.
