PAIR OF FRENCH STERLING SILVER LIDDED CASSEROLE DISHES
Early 19th Century


French standard mark for 1819-1838. Untraced maker's mark. Stamped for retailer Cosson-Corby. Ornate floral and scrolling foliage decoration, the finials cast as flower heads. Lids engraved with a small family crest. Include removable inserts with small shaped handles; inserts also with same maker's marks.

 

Total heights approx. 5.75". Diameters 8.125". Widths at handles 11".
Approx. 88.2 troy oz.
