This near complete Georg Jensen sterling silver flatware service for 12 is in the Acanthus Pattern, designed by Johan Rohde for Jensen in 1917.
The 83 pieces having a combined (weighable) silver weight of 2783 grams (89.47 troy ounces) which does not include the 12 sterling silver handled dinner knives or the 2 piece sterling silver handled carving set due to their stainless steel components which were manufactured by the long established British cutlery firm of Frank Cobbs, Sheffield England.
The service consists of the following 83 pieces:
12 sterling silver dinner forks
12 sterling silver handled dinner knives
12 sterling silver salad forks
11 sterling silver tablespoons
12 sterling silver dessert forks
12 sterling silver butter knives
9 sterling silver teaspoons
together with 1 sterling silver large serving spoon
and a sterling silver handled poultry carving knife & fork
