A William and Mary kingwood, oyster veneered and ebony inlaid cabinet on a later stand, the cabinet in the manner of Thomas Pistor

Circa 1690


The reverse ogee moulded frieze above an ovolo frieze drawer, over a pair of doors inlaid with circular, demi-lune and spandrel shaped radiating medallions, enclosing nine drawers of various proportions, encompassing a door inlaid with a central radiating medallion, enclosing four recessed drawers, the later stand comprising one long drawer, on six spiral twist turned legs and bun feet, 

 

Measurements: 122cm wide x 55cm deep x 183cm high (48in wide x 21 1/2in deep x 72in high).
