The top with an oval of dramatically figured mahogany cross-banded with tulipwood & boxwood stringing. The gallery with an ebony half-round moulding edged with boxwood, the base with convex/concave moulding also edged with boxwood. The apron in figured mahogany with a matching ebony moulding. Tapered legs edged with boxwood stringing. Distinctive moulded handles formed of alternating bands of boxwood & ebony.
