A fine quality late Victorian silver parcel-gilt dessert serving set by Wakely & Wheeler, hallmarked London 1891-2. Comprising four berry spoons, a cream ladle, a sugar-casting ladle, and a pair of grape shears. Cast and pierced with Rococo-style flowers and foliage, parcel-gilt finish. In a fitted leather case with retail mark of Martin & Co. Length of spoons 8.5" (21.5cm), total weight 15.4 troy oz (478g).
Some wear to the gilding on the berry spoons.
