A Fine Pair of 19th Century Neoclassical Inspired German Silver Open Salt Cellars, circa 1840                                                             

Both of navette form and showing richly gilded double bowls rising to swept open handles, raised overall upon a stepped oval foot bearing town marks for Leipzig, 12 Loth silver marks denoting .750 silver fineness, and Tremolierstrich scratch marks, makers marks rubbed. Combined weight, 252 grams (8.10 troy ounces). Dimensions, 3" high x 5" wide x 2.5" deep
