A Fine George III Pembroke Table in Highly Figured Mahogany, England Circa 1800
The solid mahogany top inlaid with a satinwood crossbanded edge sided by two similarly addressed demi-lune drop leaves, the inlaid frieze fitted with a single drawer retaining original brasses & lock mechanism, the opposing end with a false drawer. Raised overall upon four squared & tapering supports inlaid with paterae & satinwood bell-flower motifs, exhibiting a fine old, waxed surface & patina overall.
Dimensions, 28.75” high x 40.25” deep x 19" wide (expanding to 46.5” wide with leaves raised).
