FINE FLORENTINE NEO-RENAISSANCE SILVER COMPORT
 
This large and well modelled comport is of exceptionally heavy gauge, well-designed and offered by the well- known craftsman, Ugo Bellini of Firenze.

Standing on a lobed octofoil base, the central pedestal is modelled as a putto upholding a Horn the engraved and shaped top is applied with boughs and engraved with stylised acanthus. When filled with fruit it would be a cornucopia, a horn of plenty. It is 800 standard and also bears the mark for Milan.
