Carved Angel Shell Cameo
 
A particularly good circa 1860 century shell cameo by a master carver.
Excellent detail and depth to this work, inspired by the Angel of
Annunciation painting by Guido Reni. Measures 1.75" x 2" and with a
gross weight of 16 grams. The setting is unmarked but may be 9K gold.
Original pin and clasp are intact although the pin has some north-south
wiggle. Rare to find with the original chain safety keeper.
