CHIP-CARVED TRAMP ART LADY’S BOX
A particularly good Nova Scotia chip-carved tramp art lady’s box, likely a love token or wedding gift of some sort, considering the bold initials and heart on the frontside as well as taking into account the number of hours this box would’ve required to be crafted by hand. Pull-out drawer below and a hinged lid featuring an inset pincushion, with the lid opening to reveal a nicely fitted interior. Excellent old surface. Very minor losses.
