Spirit of N.S. Crooked Knife
 
Best quality 19th century carved burl handle crooked knife featured in
the legendary magnus opus Spirit of Nova Scotia. This knife has a museum
quality handle of highly figured burl boasting high-relief carved card
suits and delicate chip carving interspersed with cross-hatched scribe
work. Inset ebony dots evoke thoughts of gambling dice, tying in with
the playing card theme.
 
NOTE: This knife was lacking its wire wrap when it was depicted in the
book, so we had the wrapping professionally re-done with the appropriate
brass snare wire, just as it would have originally been done.
