Charles II Carved, Lidded Box In Oak

England, c. 1680

Good colour. The face carved with an attenuated trefoil motif repeated in reverse. Star-carved small roundels between. Thumb-moulded top edge. Interior paper lined. Lock plate probably original.

Lid: 26 3/4" X 15 3/4" H: 9 3/4"
