Palardy is an important  Canadian artist, his contributions are numerous and varied. He had once exhibited at the R.C.A. in Toronto and at the Art Association of Montreal with his artist wife Jori Smith in 1930. His out put is mainly limited to this period as he turned his attention to film making. He probably is best know for his book " The Early Furniture of French Canada " published in 1963.
His body of work is small and this is a very rare print. He studied this medium under Edwin Holgate.
