Beament was a barrister at law who also studied at the Ontario College of Art under J. W. Beatty. Later an official war artist in WW2. Widely exhibited and represented in numerous public and private collections. Member of R.C.A. - C.S.G.A. and Mtl. Pen & Pencil Club.
