A massive early Victorian sterling silver snuff box hallmarked Birmingham 1854 by Hilliard & Thomason. Rectangular with scroll edges and concave sides, the exterior engraved with scrolling foliage, applied thumb-piece and gilt interior. 3 3⁄8" (8.5cm) long, 2 1⁄4" (5.7cm) wide 6.9 troy oz (216g).
