Small corner cabinet, Louis XIII
Very special artifact, I'll tell you the story. It comes from the McConnell family. A fire broke out in a part of the room and a beautiful 2-body cabinet almost burned down completely. We were able to recover the door and its forging parts. We notice the top left corner blackened by the flames several years ago. Wanting to recover this door a cabinetmaker of the time has reused old wood to assemble this small cabinet to make a sink holder.

Artéfact très spécial, je vous raconte l'histoire. Elle vient de la famille McConnell. Un feu c'est déclaré dans une partie de la pièce et une magnifique armoire 2 corps a presque complètement brulé. On a pu récupéré la porte et ses pièces de forges. On remarque le coin haut gauche noirci par les flammes il y a plusieurs années. Voulant récupéré cette porte un ébéniste du temps à ré-utilisé du vieux bois pour assemblé cette petite armoire pour en faire un porte lavabo.
