Original oil on canvas representing a horse race. Work of a yet to be identified painter, it bears an illegible signature in the lower right corner. The style and composition are very reminiscent of the work of Eugène Péchaubès (1890-1967), famous for his horse racing paintings.

On the back of the frame there is an inscription in pencil: "To my friend Maurice in memory of the famous trifecta of the year 1964".

Gilt wood and stucco frame, late 19th century.
