Beaded Native tanned deer hide bag, trade cloth interior lining
Plateau, Oregon or Washington States, 4th quarter, 19th century
Albeit, this form of bag is commonly found being imbricated as a corn husk bag, this one is very unusual being decorated with bead work on hide. An additional feature is the fringed edge.
