BUTTER PRINT
A memory token, chip carved, bird's eye maple with elaborate designs of the open hand, tree of life, thistle, etc. This lollipop design is terminated with a scrolled handle.
Signed on the front "M.J.B." and obverse, "Ms. J. Blair", Nova Scotia, mid 19th century
One of the most highly decorated prints known. M(r)s. Blair must have been very honoured to have been gifted such a beautiful piece.
Condition: No restoration
