A German faience hand decorated early 19th century stein, dated 1808 on the lid.
Also marked on the lid "weg mit dem kopf verliebter tropf"  (Away with your head, amorous rogue) 
The mark on the bottom, possibly for Proskay. 
10"  high including the finial by 4.5" wide.
Overall in good condition with some nibbling to the edges.
